Typically 12 to 18 such successive treatments are required with an intervall between treatments of 2 to 4 weeks for facial areas and 4 to 6 weeks for body parts. It is also important to maintain a regular treatment cycle in order not to miss any hair growth cycles thus optimizing the results.
Root-deep epilation
In order to assure best possible access for the enzymes to the basal cells in the anagen phase – it is highly recommended to adopt the EpilaDerm®-Sugarpaste method as your preferred professional epilation method! This way the highest posssible amount of treatable hair follicles are in deed free of hairs, and can be efficiently targeted by the EpilaDerm®-Enzyme Complex.
Cleaning the skin immediately after the epilation
After the (root deep) epilation it is imperative to thoroughly clean the area of treatment with warm water respectively with a wet cloth!
Oil soluble celaners are not to be used.
The EpilaDerm®-Enzyme Complex and - Accelerator is not allowed to be applied until the skin
has been cleaned this way!
Post treatment skin care is included
The gel-system additionally soothes and hydrates the skin immediately after the epilation and reduces redness and minor skin irritations. The use of further post treatment skin care products is therefore not necessary.
Open hair follicle
For best results the EpilaDerm®-Enzyme Complex & Accelerator should be applied immediately after the epilation where the hair follicle is still open and free of hair.
It is therefore advised to divide larger areas, such as legs and back into smaller treatment areas. For instance first complete the treatment of the left lower leg before treating the right lower leg.
Enhancing efficacy
By very thick, difficult and deep rooted hairs (for instance the back by men) it is possible to increase the efficiency by using an ultrasonic device with 1-MHz-Impuls in conjunction with the application of EpilaDerm®-Accelerator (phase 2).
